Cayan Group Strongly Condemns of Russian Model’s Daredevil Stunt.

Cayan Group, the leading property developer in the Middle East strongly condemned Russian model Viki Odintcova’s daredevil stunt of hanging off the edge of the Cayan Tower roof without any restraints, or safety precautions.

The stunt was carried out without the approval or permission of authorities at Cayan Group, and is in no way a reflection of the Group’s commitments to art, creativity, and the human spirit. ‘’Although the Cayan Tower has been periodically used for extreme sports events, in all cases there has been safety, security, and emergency services on site. We have a process of selecting trained professionals skilled at their craft, especially these high-risk life-threatening events, and carry out a stick review of the safety measures and backup safety measures before approving the event,” explained Gizel Daher, Director of Marketing & Communications.

The model and her assistants had not sought permission or approval, and had expertly breeched security to perform the stunt. “Under no circumstances can we condone Ms. Odintcova’s irresponsible actions, and we are in the process of reviewing our security procedures to understand and rectify where the lapse occurred and how to prevent such in the future,” Gizel Daher said.

An immediate legal action is running against this condemned incident and the sentence will cover the involved breachers at all levels.

Cayan Group, the leading property developer in the Middle East announced today at a joint press conference held in Dubai, the appointment of Rotana Hotel Management as the hotel operator for the Cayan Arjaan Hotel Apartments project. Furthermore, Shapoorji Pallonji International has been appointed as the main contractor for the project with construction works expected to commence during November 2016.

Work on Cayan’s CMC Tower Progresses Ahead of Schedule

Structural package completed mixed-use commercial tower in Riyadh

Cayan Group, the leading property developer in the Middle East’s ongoing mixed-use commercial tower in Riyadh is nearing completion, ahead of schedule. The CMC Tower located in Riyadh, on King Fahad Road is 14 stories tall. The total cost of the CMC Tower is budgeted at SAR 100 million.

Currently, construction of the CMC Tower is progressing at a steady rate and ahead of schedule. Usually, a tower of this stature consisting of three distinct phases or packages—the enabling, structural and finishing packages—of development takes a period of 24 months for completion.

Both the enabling and structural packages of the CMC Tower have been completed ahead of schedule within 3 and 6 months respectively. The structural package was awarded to and completed by Al Bawani Co. The finishing package is now about to be awarded.

Ahmed Mohammed Alhatti, born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is the President and Chairman of the Board of Cayan Group. Mr. Alhatti is the man behind the $272mn “twisting tower” called Cayan Tower, in Dubai Marina, UAE.

CAYAN GROUP WINS BIG AT THE PRESTIGIOUS ARABIAN PROPERTY AWARDS

In its quest to discover the best developers in the Middle East, the International Property Awards in London invited development companies to present their finest work. The judging committee chaired by two active members of the House of Lords scrutinized hundreds of entries and two of Cayan Group’s pioneering projects were named winners in different categories. Cayan Group has been thus awarded ones of the highest accolades in the Property industry at the Africa and Arabia International Property Awards Summit. Held at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel, Dubai on the 11th November- 12th 2015, Cayan Group was awarded:

a Five Star award for Best Mixed-use Development category with Cayan Cantara project for Dubai,
a Highly Commended award for Office Development category with CMC project for Saudi Arabia,
a Highly Commended award for Development Marketing category with Cayan Cantara project for Dubai.

Cayan Group ranked 10 among the Top 50 GCC Developers by Construction Week

Cayan Group, led by Ahmed Alhatti, has earned the rare distinction of developing the highest twisted tower in the world — the Cayan Tower in Dubai Marina.
The project was delivered in June 2013, spans a total built up area of 11.9ha, and is worth $326m. The developer, which has operations in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, delivered another project in Riyadh this year, named Layaly Compound, which has a built-up area of 2ha and is valued at $27.2m.

Cayan Group earned an operating profit of $27.2m in 2014 and plans to deliver more projects by 2018: in Q3 2017, the CMC Business Center in Riyadh, a project worth $35.3m; and in Q4 2018, Cayan Cantara in Dubai, worth $272m.

Guinness World Records’ Tallest Twisted Tower

Cayan Group, one of the Middle East’s leading real estate developers, has bagged the prestigious “Tower Project of the Year” at the 10th Construction Week Awards for its landmark residential property Cayan Tower, officially declared by the Guinness World Records as the globe’s tallest twisted tower standing at 307 meters (1,007 feet) high. Ahmed Alhatti, President and Chairman of Cayan Group received the award on behalf of the company during a ceremony held recently at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai.

Cayan beat four other finalists that vied for the category’s top honor during this year’s competition. The event celebrates the achievements of the region’s construction contractors in recognition of their individual excellence, corporate prowess, and project success.

Designed by renowned architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Cayan Tower is situated at the heart of Dubai Marina to provide great views of the sea, marina and The Palm. Each floor is rotated by 1.2 degrees to achieve the full 90-degree spiral and creates the shape of a helix. More than 80 per cent of the residential units have already been handed over and occupied. Cayan Group Launch 3 Strategic Projects

Cayan Group launched projects worth of 3.1 Billion Dirham amidst a thrilling event that witnessed ‘Spiderman’ make a record-breaking climb up the twisted Cayan Tower. Held at the Grosvenor House Dubai Marina, the gala dinner was attended by VIP guests, elite media and speakers from Cayan Group.

Cayan Tower Official Opening

Among a magical atmosphere of enthusiasm, Cayan Group has inaugurated its award-winning AED 1 billion Cayan Tower on June 5 2013. The Tower, which broke the record for the tallest twisted architectural creation in the world, was inaugurated with its new name at the event, which showcased the first-of-its-kind 3D mapping projection; on its 310-meter high helix structure. A huge number of VIPs, and media attended this spectacular event and enjoyed witnessing a great show of fireworks enlightening the world’s tallest twisted tower and the Marina.

Our Fathers’ Happiness

Cayan Foundation provided the Ramadan Iftar Program at the Social Care Center in Riyadh. It was to draw joy and delight on the faces of our elderly parents. It also carried out some entertainment activities and was happy to distribute gifts to all the guests.

Children of the future.

Cayan Foundation always seeks to take care of children and invest in their future to provide them with a sense of happiness and reassurance and that there is always someone to meet their needs. Accordingly, Cayan Foundation provided a Ramadan Iftar to the children of the Social Education Center and an entertainment program at Chucky Cheese in Riyadh while also distributing gifts to all children.

Keep them warm.

Cayan Foundation launched “Keep Them Warm” Initiative to aid the refugees suffering from the storm that was raging in Lebanon by the beginning of year 2015. A team of 12 people from Cayan Group came together and spared no effort to help families and children in the South and North of Lebanon. The team travelled to Lebanon to distribute food supplies, gasoline, blankets and other necessary goods. And as usual, Cayan Foundation will never forget to enlighten the days of the new generation, toys and dolls were distributed to hundreds of kids to grant them a smile and a pleasure they all needed desperately.

Taylor’s Wish.

Cayan Group hosted Make-A-Wish at Cayan Tower to fulfill the wish of Taylor, an 11-year old child with life-threatening medical condition from Make-A-Wish® Arizona organization who came all the way from the United States of America to visit Cayan Tower and fulfill his true wish of knowing more about the world’s tallest twisted Tower, its architecture and design.

A team from Cayan Group welcomed Taylor’s family who spent for a full day in Cayan Tower. The family was given full explanation about the architecture and all other intriguing aspects of the tower. Cayan Group also granted the family a contemporary full day access to enjoy all the facilities at Cayan Tower. At the end of the day, Taylor expressed his ultimate happiness for being able to fulfill his wish and enjoy this memorable journey.

Education.. the most powerful weapon.

In November 2009, Cayan Group signed an MOU with United Nations to build a school for the children of Nahr El Bared camp in North Lebanon. Fourteen months later, the school opened its doors to 1100 students where it provided them with all the needed educational tools and information The school is still operating until today and is contributing to the knowledge of successive generations. This CSR activity was one of Cayan Foundation´s’ best and most significant achievements.
